Activity Barn

Activity Barn
A new addition to Ratlingate Scout Activity Centre is our new Activity Barn. The barn allows not only an area for wet weather activities but also has a bouldering wall and ample space for activities.

Camping

Ratlingate main camping field
With four acres of camping field and twenty acres of mixed woodland and pine plantation, Ratlingate provides an excellent base for outdoor activities. There is ample wood for open fires. Campers have access to water at several standpipes around the site.

Wild Camping Area

Ghyllbrow Plantation

Also available is our wild camping area within the Gillbrow plantation area of the site (top woods), this is an ideal place for wild camping/ survival camps where you can make bivouac's and rigging hammocks. Just to note that there are no toilets or water access in Gilbrow and fires MUST be on the concrete pads only, due to the peat in the ground.
